10% Recovery Support Set-Aside

Support Congressional approval for a 10 percent guaranteed set-aside in SAMHSA’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grants.  This set-aside would establish a dedicated funding stream for recovery support services that have not previously existed.

Reentry Act

The Reentry Act would allow Medicaid and CHIP to restart coverage for eligible incarcerated individuals up to 30 days prior to their release from a jail or prison.  It will also make it easier for states to provide effective addiction services and treatment, allowing for smoother transitions to community care and a reduced risk of overdose deaths post-release.

RESTORE Act
