Photos should be taken at every chapter event to illustrate the fantastic work each chapter is doing and to promote your regional work on our national social media. When logging each event in the YPR Community, it is mandatory to select if photos were taken at the event.
Please share your photos on the slack channel “social-share-worthy.”
It is important to follow some best practices before you upload these photos. Here are some guidelines to help you ensure we are respecting people’s privacy.
-Always ask permission before taking someone’s photo
-Ask parents to sign the permission form of anyone under their guardianship at the event
-Respect the time and place and only take photos when appropriate
-Refrain from taking photos when asked not to
-Inform individuals who have consented to their photo that it may end up on YPR’s social media
