Good morning/afternoon XXX,
My name is XXX and I am the Chapter Lead and EPIC Program Implementer in LOCATION for Young People in Recovery. Young People in Recovery (YPR) is a peer recovery support organization focused on creating recovery-ready communities throughout the nation for people in, or seeking long-term recovery from substance use disorder.
We are looking for community agencies to partner with and offer our My Recovery is EPIC life skills development program. I’ve attached a one-pager explaining our My Recovery is EPIC Program in detail. We have the ability to offer these modules in person, or virtually pending participants having access to a computer, tablet or smartphone.
I would love to set-up a call to discuss this in more detail with you. Do you have some time in the coming weeks for a 30 minute phone call?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
NAME
Good afternoon ________________,
I hope you are having a wonderful day and thank you so much for taking my call earlier! I can not tell you how excited I am to share what we are working on in the state of Kentucky!
Young People in Recovery is a national non-profit organization that advocates for better access to services like education, housing, and employment. We do this by cultivating chapters across the country to be advocates for recovery, and advocates for recovery support services in their respective areas. Another component to Young People in Recovery (YPR) is our programs that we offer to treatment providers. My Recovery is E.P.I.C. is one of those programs, which I will give you more detail below, and what we are doing in the state!
A little background…
YPR was contacted by the Department of Behavioral Health in Kentucky to implement and deliver Recovery Support services in targeted regions. We have actually been working on this project for almost 3 years in Owensboro, Hazard, Grayson, Somerset, and Northern Kentucky.
What we are working on now…
Since our work started in the early spring of 2016, they have extended the contract to other areas and now we are working in more parts of the state. The department has given seed money to implement at new sites in the state to use this comprehensive curriculum that YPR offers.
What does this mean for you? We are looking for providers who would like to implement the program at their center and partner with Young People in Recovery to deliver recovery support services to their clients. I have attached the executive summary of our program, My Recovery is E.P.I.C. for more detailed information. I am also sending a link to the Implementation Guide, which you can find here. This will give you a better idea of the nuts and bolts of the program. The curriculum overview that is attached will give you a brief description of each module that will be facilitated for participants.
If available I would like to schedule a follow up call with you, if you have any questions or would like to talk further about YPR, the program, and our chapters.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!
