RCI for Managers
The RCI platform is a tool for assessing recovery capital, allows chapter leads to communicate with their participants, and provides valuable feedback on YPR program effectiveness. This document will outline leveraging the RCI platform and provide an overview of its features and terminology.
Creating chapter groups is the first step. Groups allow us to segment the population of participants for communication and data purposes. As the image above shows, chapter activities, the chapter, and on up to the national level, these segments of participants should be thought about as groups.
For each chapter create 5 groups, in this order, using this naming convention:
Louisville, KY
Louisville, KY – ARM
Louisville, KY – Pro Social
Louisville, KY – Workshop
Louisville, KY – Advocacy
Workflows create the keywords and assign those that text in to the proper groups.
For each chapter create 5 groups, in this order, using this naming convention:
YPRLOU > Louisville, KY
LOUARM > Louisville, KY – ARM
LOUPRO > Louisville, KY – Pro Social
LOUWORK > Louisville, KY – Workshop
LOUAD > Louisville, KY – Advocacy
You can create multiple keywords for each workflow. It is helpful to create YPRLOU and YPR LOU, for instance. Adding the space between YPR and LOU helps with text in errors.
In the workflow, assign the keyword to “add to a group”
For the Keyword YPRLOU, add participants to the following groups: Louisville, KY, Kentucky All, and All Participants.
For the LOUARM keyword, add participants to Louisville, KY- ARM, Louisville, KY, Kentucky All, and All Participants.
A broadcast is how you communicate with a group of participants.
